Kedrodasos, in southwestern Chania, is a wild, sandy beach next to Elafonisi. With no facilities, it stands out for the junipers growing in the sand. It is advisable to bring water. The sea is crystal clear, but the bay offers little natural protection.

The beach faces south. With northerly winds the air flows offshore and the water near the shore stays flat; with southerly winds the sea builds up waves onto the beach. The coast is exposed to the open sea, so conditions change quickly with the wind.
